Victory Hill Transitional exists to glorify God by restoring men transitioning from incarceration through Christ-centered discipleship, accountability, and practical support.
Who We Are
We are a prison ministry. Victory Hill Transitional is a faith based, Christ centered facility. Our goal is to be the 1 st foundational step for me coming out of incarceration or recovery programs, looking for a next step. We are founded on Biblical values, education and encouragement, helping men become the men that God created them to be. We offer Christian guidance, job training, employment opportunities and aid participants in gathering personal credentials (drivers license, bank accounts, etc). We offer these services, while holding them accountable with regular drug testing and holding Bible studies. We also work to reconcile men with their families, offering guidance, direction, Christian brotherly love and leadership training. Our goal is to give these men, the best opportunities possible to be successful.
Our Program
Our program is the first step back into society for these men. We want to help them lay their foundation upon bibilical truth. We strive to make disciples of them, helping and encouraging them while building their faith. One of our primary objectives is to prevent their relapse into addiction and offer employment opportunities to prevent them from falling back into criminal behavior. By offering programs and classes, making attendance mandatory to church events and Bible studies and all things Jesus.
We seek to assure their continued freedom, by renewing their minds while they find their true identity in Christ. We believe this will encourage growth and success as they transition back into the world. We hope to turn their pain of the past into strength for the future, affirming Biblical truth, replacing negativity and removing the mindset of institutionalization.
In summary, we seek to turn negative attitudes into active positive behaviors. With personal one on one mentor sessions, we are helping men to be overcomers. Learning forgiveness through faith and walking out the word of God. Our goal is to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us daily, to produce the fruit we were intended to produce. Advancing the Kingdom of light, one soul and one soldier at a time.
